MESSAGES AND POSTS

When someone responds to my post I.,  99% of the time respond to that by email. Do you see those? Anyone?
I have emailed Old Road Primitives to tell her I received my swap gift and it is absolutely amazing it but she doesn't see my email at all. I also emailed her to see what type of things she liked as I have never done an official swap before and I thought that was what we were suppose to do. No response. So if you are reading this post believe me I am trying to contact you but I think my emails might be going to your junk mail maybe. I will post a pic tonight but please don't think I am ignoring you.

Mother Nature Thinks she is my Mother

I decided one sunny day a couple of weeks ago that it was spring enough for me, the boots and the shoes went into the spare closet. I pulled out the sandals and the flip flops, that was it. I said I wasn't wearing shoes again until October.
Well from pictures you can see that mother nature seems to think she is my mother and is telling me to put some shoes on my feet. So today I go out to go to the store and I have my flip flops on and the sun is shining, the snow is melting rather quickly. Hmmmm that led to another dilemma, how do I get to my truck and not get all muddy. You don't.
Still not wearing shoes Mom N. Thanks for the good try though. hehe
I can still hear my dear Mom telling me, Katherine Ann, there is still four feet of snow out there get in here and put some shoes on your feet lol. Needless to say I HATE wearing shoes. When I go visit my mom this weekend I am not wearing shoes and I wonder if she will remember to tell me :(...  something may never change no matter how much we do. NOW I miss my mom telling me what to do. When you are 16 you just want them to leave you alone. I wish I knew then what I know now.

Wednesday and snowing Again

I looked outside today and I actually seen a bit of green. I saw two robins in the yard. It is so exciting. When I looked out the window this afternoon I just shook my head. It was snowing big huge flakes. By the time I had supper done there was no more grass to see it was all white again.
That is okay though because I got a lot of stuff finished tonight and that always makes me feel good. Plus I got to watch American Idol. Yes I am an addict.  This year not so much but still watching.
The long winters just make us appreciate the spring even more so I should be really appreciative this year.

Tuesday Display Chain

I have never done one of these but I thought oh why not spring is so beautiful and fun. I haven't made it to the attic yet to bring down my tree and such but that is okay. Maybe this weekend. Happy Spring you all.

I am singing this but another blessing this Easter season for you is that you can't actually hear me lol. Not even with the biggest Easter basket in the world could I carry a tune.

I love springtime, I love the snow melting. I love the smell of spring, the colors, the breezes. Oh I just love it all.

Spring

I do believe that spring has finally arrived in northern Maine. It was a beautiful weekend. The snow is melting and I can almost use my whole driveway. I even think some of my lilies are coming up. They are day lilies but none the less. It won't be long and I will be out in the garden and I can't wait. A few more weeks and my son will be done his second year of college. Time drags while he is away but flies at the same time. I hope you all have a great week.
